We report the achievement of transport critical currents in Sr0.6K0.4Fe2As2 wires and tapes with a Tc = 34 K. The wires and tapes were fabricated through an in situ powder-in-tube process. Silver was used as a chemical addition as well as a sheath material. All the wire and tape samples have shown the ability to transport superconducting current. Critical current density Jc was enhanced upon silver addition, and at 4.2 K, a largest Jc of ~1200 A/cm2 (Ic = 9 A) was achieved for 20% silver added tapes, which is the highest in iron-based wires and tapes so far. The Jc is almost field independent between 1 T and 10 T, exhibiting a strong vortex pinning. Such a high transport critical current density is attributed to the weak reaction between the silver sheath and the superconducting core, as well as an improved connectivity between grains. We also identify a weak-link behavior from the apparent drop of Jc at low fields and a hysteretic phenomenon. Finally, we found that compared to Fe, Ta and Nb tubes, Ag was the best sheath material for the fabrication of high-performance 122 type pnictide wires and tapes. 相似文献

Local density of states (LDOS) and the lattice structure of highly underdoped Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+δ with Tc = 22 K and 30 K were investigated by a low temperature scanning tunneling microscope. The modulation structure of the Bi–O surface was strongly depressed in the highly underdoped samples. The depression was observed only in the samples subject to the strong reduction annealing process, suggesting that the strong reduction in excess oxygen could destroy the modulation structure. At a time, patch-like inhomogeneity in the gap map sometimes disappeared, indicating that the existence of excess oxygen has an important role in the patch formation. Analysis on the LDOS with various doping levels showed that there was no crossover energy, which separates a pseudogap and a superconducting gap and is proportional to Tc. 相似文献

Two-component superconductivity based on the two-band superconductor has a functional topology such as an inter-band phase difference soliton (i-soliton) to realize topological electronics (topolonics). Many gauge field theories are applied to investigate the topology of two-band superconductivity. To ease experimental and electronics applications, these theories should be refined. Weinberg–Salam theory and SU(2) (two-dimensional special unitary symmetry) gauge field theory are proper starting points. An effective extra force field because of the crystal structure and inter-band Josephson interaction, rather than spontaneous symmetry breaking, simplifies the conventional gauge field theory. 相似文献

Er and Yb co-doped ZnAl2O4 phosphors were prepared by solution combustion synthesis and the identification of Er and Yb were done by energy-dispersive
X-ray analysis (EDX) studies. A luminescence at 1.5 μm, due to the 4I13/2 →4I15/2 transition, has been studied in the NIR region in Er and Yb co-doped ZnAl2O4 phosphors upon 980 nm CW pumping. Er-doped ZnAl2O4 exhibits two thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) peaks around 174°C and 483°C, while Yb co-doped ZnAl2O4 exhibits TSL peaks around 170°C and 423°C. Electron spin resonance (ESR) studies were carried out to identify defect centres
responsible for TSL peaks observed in the phosphors. Room temperature ESR spectrum appears to be a superposition of two distinct
centres. These centres are assigned to an O− ion and F+ centre. O− ion appears to correlate with the 174°C TSL peak and F+ centre appears to relate with the high temperature TSL peak at 483°C in ZnAl2O4:Er phosphor. 相似文献

Europium-doped yttrium oxide (Y2O3:Eu) thin films were successfully deposited on quartz and ITO/glass substrates by excimer-laser-assisted metal organic deposition
(ELAMOD) at low temperatures. The effects of laser wavelength and thermal temperature on the films’ crystallinity and photoluminescence
properties were investigated. Films irradiated by an ArF laser at 80 mJ/cm2 and 400–500°C were highly crystallized compared with those prepared by thermal MOD. In contrast, when the film was irradiated
by a KrF laser at 500°C, no crystalline Y2O3:Eu was formed. The Y2O3:Eu film irradiated by the ArF laser at 80 mJ/cm2 and 500°C showed typical PL spectra of Eu3+ ions with cubic symmetry and a 5D0→7F2 transition at ∼612 nm. The PL intensity at 612 nm was much higher for the film prepared with ELAMOD than for that prepared
by the thermal-assisted process, and the photoemission intensity of the film prepared with ELAMOD strongly depended on the

YAG phosphor powders doped/codoped with Er3+/(Er3+ + Yb3+) have been synthesised by using the solution combustion method. The effect of direct pumping into the 4I11/2 level under 980 nm excitation of doped/codoped Er3+/Yb3+−Er3+ in Y3Al5O12 (YAG) phosphor responsible for an infrared (IR) emission peaking at ∼1.53 μm corresponding to the 4I13/2→4I15/2 transition has been studied. YAG exhibits three thermally-stimulated luminescence (TSL) peaks at around 140°C, 210°C and
445°C. Electron spin resonance (ESR) studies were carried out to identify the centres responsible for the TSL peaks. The room
temperature ESR spectrum of irradiated phosphor appears to be a superposition of two distinct centres. One of the centres
(centre I) with principal g-value 2.0176 is identified as O− ion, while centre II with an isotropic g-factor 2.0020 is assigned to an F+ centre (singly ionised oxygen vacancy). An additional defect centre is observed during thermal-annealing experiments and
this centre (assigned to F+ centre) seems to originate from an F-centre (oxygen vacancy with two electrons) and these two centres appear to correlate

We have investigated the electronic states in quasi-one-dimensional CuO chains by microprobe angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy. We find that the quasiparticle Fermi surface consists of six disconnected segments, consistent with recent theoretical calculations that predict the formation of narrow, elongated Fermi surface pockets for coupled CuO chains. In addition, we find a strong renormalization effect with a significant kink structure in the band dispersion. The properties of this latter effect [energy scale (~40 meV), temperature dependence, and behavior with Zn-doping] are identical to those of the bosonic mode observed in CuO2 planes of high-temperature superconductors, indicating they have a common origin. 相似文献
